To give you an idea of how for me the Val d’Orcia is the ideal destination for a wedding, I need only tell you that it was the setting for my wedding. After much exploration of the area, I chose the farmhouse “Poggio al Sole” a location in the countryside, among the vineyards, away from car noise and where 360\u00b0 all you can see are rolling hills and cypress trees.<\/p>\n

The Val d’Orcia is that postcard landscape that people from all over the world think of when the word “Tuscany” is uttered. For me it is the crown jewel of Tuscany, a precious jewel. The landscape is harmonious and retains its intact charm. Among the hills in the characteristic “terra di Siena” nuance are glimpses of farms, farmhouses restored in keeping with tradition, charming villages that preserve their medieval layout and many artistic treasures. The products of the land are the basis of an authentic yet refined cuisine, accompanied by fine wines such as Brunello di Montalcino.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
